Activism and solidarity

Fragment 1.0, September 2007

"... and then there were men who sacrificed themselves for the cause of the revolution, and the freeedom of our country."

That's the stuff of mythology. Any way I turn it, I just cannot understand human behavior in such terms.

And why, if I do not understand it, do I assume that it does not exist?

If I were to categorize my approach as a scientific discipline, I would probably come up with 'biological logic'. I am firmly convinced that human behavior follows some inherent logic, whether the human whose behavior I observe is aware of this logic or not. Actually, I reckon that the vaste majority of people have very little awareness of what the true motivations are for how they behave.

I believe that the primary referral system is the sexual market value ranking. The sexual market value ranking is a force similar to sexual selection, with the difference that it is a social model, rather than a biological one.

If roosters from generation to generation have ever larger combs, then this is, in accordance to the principle of male competition and female choice, the result of sexual selection on the part of hens. The mechanisms of sexual selection override natural selection which should work against pronouced combs as they may be an obstruction, however small, in evading predators.

(Quote on Darwin, sexual selection, male competition and female choice)

When among humans, long hair of males is considered attractive by girls and women, there will be an ever increasing number of males who wear their hair long, never mind how impractical this may be.

Most females are probably not aware of how much control they have over males, when certain preferences become sufficiently prevalent in a female social group which certain men use as reference for their sexual market value ranking.

Therefore, the surest way to politically contol large numbers of males is to first control the preferences of a much smaller numbers of females, who then, sort-of, give males the idea that if they achieve a high sexual market value within this reference group, then they will be afforded sexual opportunities.
